2014 (Arlington Heights, IL) – Dubbe Moulder Architects, Jackson, WY has been named a winner in the annual Professional Remodeler Design Awards contest, presented by Professional Remodeler magazine. Dubbe Moulder Architects won a Platinum Award in the Whole House Renovation over $750,000 category. From the Platinum Award, they were then selected as Project of the Year for 2014.
The Professional Remodeler Design Awards is a national contest which recognizes outstanding remodeling projects in 22 categories. For more information, visit www.housingzone.com.
Nominees are firms involved in residential remodeling from around the country. Entries are judged on construction quality, overall design, creativity, problem solving and value. Awards are determined by a panel of four industry expert judges.
“The project we submitted was the Blue Moose Ski Lodge in Teton Village. It has been our most extreme remodel to date, as we took a 2700 square foot 3 bedroom/2 bath ski chalet that was built in the late 1960s and turned it into a 5100 square foot vacation home with six bedrooms and 6 ½ baths. The home can now comfortably sleep up to 18 guests, making it a desirable rental for ski enthusiasts in the winter and National Park visitors in the summer. The completion of the project brought its own satisfaction in its success of form and function, but it’s a whole other honor to be recognized at a national level,” says Chris Moulder, principal architect for the project.
