St. Francis Episcopal Church’s congregation in Alta, Wyoming, asked DMA to redefine their front entry sequence in order to create an open and inviting entry facade that will help strengthen their image and identity.

The new design creates a weather-protected front entry porch that allows guests to congregate and socialize under a wood tongue and groove, barrel-vaulted ceiling. The horizontal lattice structure is multifunctional, filtering the morning light into the entry foyer, while also providing a surface for vegetation to take hold which will create additional texture and shading.
